With some cool engineering in these machines and they provide a reasonably long MTBF, if built correctly, and well maintained should provide years of service. The finished prosthetic contains the contour information taken from the original stone, forming a true and well fitting prosthetic former, which is then populated with the finish and any required teeth the patient may have lost which require replacement. The 3 dimensional printers can be used to create faithful replications of any object that can be created in a computer memory, though size is limited to the actual dimensions of the print bed, the accuracy is currently around 20 microns, which allows the equipment t o create highly complex shapes.The creation of jewelry, is another successful use of this product. For rapid prototyping technologies, and businesses that require highly intricate products for mould creation, metal forming and plastics injection moulds this technology is highly desirable.My job... basically...at this time... is to keep it running, learn what makes it tick, how it develops failures, and when I have enough experience doing that, my intention will be to move into designing a better product.
