President at PDC LLC (GridPro). PDC has benefited by my past experiences. After my PhD, I was employed for 3 years at the USAF Weapons Lab in New Mexico, 5 years at United Technologies Research Center, 2 years at NASA, and then 9 years at Columbia University. The topics have spanned the gamut of computer simulations including nuclear, medical, aerospace, automative, wind energy, plasmas, etc. Along the way, I was one of the people who helped to establish the topic of Mesh (Grid) generation. As such, I was one of the editors of the first conference series on it (8 of them each with proceedings) as well as being an associate editor of a computational mechanics journal. While at Columbia, I produced 4 PhD students and helped to establish the topic of Applied Mathematics.
