Working with the Health HS&E Team, the holder will support the Head of HS&E with implementation of a risk based training schedule and HS&E Management Assurance plan, as well as the deliverance of a the Divisional HS&E Strategy and a robust reporting process that allows predictive assessment of potential health, safety and environmental related failures

Functional EHS: Support CC EHS activities within functional community Support as internal moderator safety performance profiling (SPP). Represent Site at EHS Functional Community meetings providing and implementing learning and best practice where applicable.Competence: Ensure adequacy of all EHS support and services for site operations Provide training as specified by the site training matrix. Update training on all new or revised EHS systems and brief learning notices. Maintain personal EHS competence through CPD and internal and external training. Develop and maintain an effective EHS network as part of functional role. Provide "intelligent customer" advice when scoping external training provision. Support and promote the Safety Champions concept, SPP and similar behaviour-based systems. Represent EHS at the site H&S committee and staff council.Governance: Provide EHS Functional Leadership for site operations Ensure site compliance with all relevant EHS legal commitments and BASF Responsible Care Codes and requirements. Support the development of site generated and consolidated annual EHS targets, measures and KPI's. Manage the implementation of all actions from EHS audits and inspections. Provide regular EHS performance reports for site management review and update all BASF EHS internal reporting commitments. Conduct independent EHS plant/site inspections. Develop and own the SHE concept for site operations. Promote a culture of continual improvement through information, training and constant performance measurement. Support Managers in all site risk assessments in line with site operating procedures. Support line managers and supervisors in the delivery of their EHS responsibilities Information protection officer and Site Security OfficerResponsible for all issues related to Information Protection and Site Security at the site.
