Responsible for Huta's Eastern Province operation activities. In charge of allocating and guiding resources to satisfy & meet the company's key performance requirements & indicators and meet the Ministry of Environment expectations.Works Supervisor on the remediation and restoration program aimed at mitigating damages that occurred to terrestrial and marine habitats during the 1991 Gulf War; within KSA's Eastern Province.The program’s coastal remediation projects involved the removal (excavation) and or homogenization (tilling/ripping) of lingering oil residues and the restoration of salt marsh hydrology. The latter is being accomplished by re-establishing tidal channel morphometry through various excavation and re-contouring treatments. In addition, re-establishing and augmenting locally the flora assemblages within the salt marsh and tidal flat habitats through the transplantation of perennial halophytes including mangroves.

PME Buildings Maintenance. For these aforementioned new build schemes I was required to review existing proposals & calculations and amend or redesign accordingly. Responsible for preferred options development and detail design of several CSOs (total of 21) and a pumping station of a £4.5M scheme. Single point of contact for data collection work and office based technical support for site queries. Procured & carried out various site surveys, investigations & environmental walkovers. Prepared all required project calculations/drawings and post contract documentation.*Runcie Road Flooding. Responsible for the development of feasibility options for this £350K flooding scheme. Performed needs assessment study & associated calculations and progressed solutions to be carried over to conceptual design stage. *Coxhoe & Kelloe CSOs. Responsible for the solution design development of six CSOs and the preparation of all project documentation from conception to completion for this £1.4M scheme. Duties included developing the civil design works, performing necessary hydraulic and structural calculations, liaising with the client and managing third parties. Accountable for all works information packages, cost estimates, H&S plans, design safety reviews and risk assessments.Wastewater Treatment, Various WwTW (NWL)In addition to the roles described previously, I also performed duties of Site Supervisor, Planning Supervisor representative and H&S coordinator.Developed and designed several gravity/rising main pipelines along with new pumping stations and supervised, where required, the schemes construction. Responsible for developing and assessing options to upgrade the treatment and hydraulic capacity of several treatment works.Procured all necessary investigations, liaised and managed all 3rd party issues. Administered all required notices and coordinated planning applications where necessary. Scheme costs: £950K to £2.2M.

* Project co-ordinator & Site Engineer for the civil & mechanical design and assembly of a 5000m3 sludge settling vessel for a new WwTW. Responsible for all surveys, preparation of the EIA, the Hazard Risk Assessments, the legislation compliance and the detail design specifications. Actively involved in the running of contracts at different stages and communicating with clients and contractors throughout. * Responsible for the design of several harbour engineering works within the port of Syros including a fully serviced pontoon marina with 50 yacht berthing capacity.

*Part of a 10 person strong team whose duties involved studies and renovations of listed buildings and supervision of building and landscape works. Responsible to check design implementation on site, managing labour force, arranging supply of materials, organise purchases and shipment of both equipment & personnel. I supervised the work quality and motivated the implementation of Health and Safety management system on sites.
