Santa Safari is an inbound tour operator and destination management company working in Finland, Sweden and Norwary. With hotels and cabins accommodations, organising multiple outdoor excursions.I provided operational and logistical support to 4 hotels in both countries. Managing the planning and delivery of the entire programme for adults and children including 3 activity centres, over 20 activities and a staff of 68; financial management of a large budget, a fleet of vehicles, numerous buildings and equipment; responsible for health and safety, risk and compliance management and the human resources, employee relations aspects of the outdoor teams, Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators. Major Achievements• Managed 12, day break programs in December, with 3 planes of 168 clients landing with a 1 hour gap between each plane arrival, 6 hours on the ground and a full programme of activities, within budget and within the time frame allocated to each plane. While continuing to run logistics and excursions for four hotels.• Planned and achieved the programmes of 20 x 4 day activities, 22 x 5 day activities and 19 x 8 day activities, for adults and children, running concurrently, all within budget and to the clients’ satisfaction, 160 km inside the Arctic Circle.• Developed and sold a new excursion (An Overnight Snowmobile Safari). I lead the negotiations with the local Sami people and Metsähallitus (State land authority) to gain permission for this very remote wilderness route, and trained the staff to deliver the excursion.

Between May-September 2015 Belfast hosts 58 Cruise Ships with passengers numbers ranging between 100 to 3600 Pax, totalling 115,000 over the short season. Visit Belfast is the driving force in ensuring that ships visiting Belfast and have a positive experience. My responsibilities include:• Managing a team of travel advisers who provide Visitor Servicing at the port for every cruise ship. • Oversee the implementation for a shuttle bus service to meet the specific requirement of each ship, while remaining in budget though public, private funding partnership.• I ensure key stakeholders, the Port of Belfast, Ground Handlers and Shipping Agents are informed of changes on a regular basis. • Working alongside Marketing and Commutations team to present best possible PR and public profile of Visit Belfast.
