Meridian Test Laboratory is a NATA accredited facility owned by Seeley International for testing the performance of HAVC products. My main role is to undertake testing and to manage all activities associated with the laboratory, whilst ensuring tests are completed safely and in line with the accrediation requirements.

The CE Marking Association (Wemtech) provides support on health & safety related topics, across a wide range of industries. As the consultant, I provided product consultancy advice on CE Marking, European Product Legilsation and Standards. I was also responsible for the safety and delivery outputs of the Engineering Team.

Babcock Networks is an acquisition, design and construction company for the telecommunication, broadcast and transmission industry. My main task was to manage the design process for new mobile communication sites. I was also the health and safety representative for the regional office, attending meetings at the head office and collaborating with colleagues and external stakeholders to address any issues.

I was a department supervisor, assisting with the management of a fresh food department within asupermarket. The role was initially part time whilst at University, which then became full time when I was looking to start a career linked to my degree. The role gave me a great opportunity to develop my customer service skills and work in a busy environment, allowing me to develop my time management skills. Working in the fresh repacked food department, tasks included:- Assisting to manage a £80,000 (per week) department & liaising with customers;- Coordinating and managing junior members of staff and ensuring that objectives have been achieved;- Setting and maintaining high standards for managing and presenting the stock.
