At Accenture, I have had the opportunity to understand how technological innovation can revolutionise our ways of working, developing experience with both the concepts that are disrupting our world, such as AI and big data, and the methodologies and frameworks that enable us to implement new ways of thinking, such as Agile. With one of our clients, the Clean Energy Regulator, I am serving as a business analyst, leveraging my digital and technological literacy and communication skills to work within a team of more than 20 people to design and manage the delivery of a new CRM to a team of more than 200 people. I’ve worked extensively with senior stakeholders and a range of end users to spearhead a rebuild of more than 10 templates used to inform over 1,500 project proponents of critical legal and financial obligations - by doing so, I am helping to cut the time taken to perform this task by more than 70%, while reducing the risk of non-compliance and improving project proponent experience.I’ve also developed great experience with navigating rapid, high-level change in a constantly-evolving work environment. In one case, I supported the development of a framework for the Regulator’s processes in response to new legislation, which needed to be finalised quickly to ensure the Regulator remained compliant.

I was selected from a pool of hundreds of applicants as one of 27 Earlywork Academy Business Development Fellows in their second cohort.As part of Earlywork Academy, I received training in foundational tech sales skills such as prospecting, written outreach, cold calls, and discovery calls, as well as building knowledge applying tools like LinkedIn & Salesforce.The Earlywork Academy curriculum was designed in partnership with advisors at companies including Salesforce, SafetyCulture, & Uber.During the program, I was fortunate enough to apply these concepts in a real-world sales environment through a full-day Live Sales Apprenticeship with Buildpass, an Australia B2B SaaS startup in the construction space. In this apprenticeship, I was able to exceed expectations for a novice sales representative with limited experience in Buildpass' product by successfully booking a discovery call.

As a contractor with Thorial, the winner of Innovation ACT 2019, I was given the unique opportunity to get a taste for how technology start-ups operate. Thorial offered me important insights into the role that AI can play in supporting small-to-medium sized businesses to retain talent and minimise lost productivity.I was tasked with evaluating a significant body of academic literature and to use these insights to understand what best-practice management activities looked like. In the short time I was contracted to the firm, I was able to double their database of best-practice management activities.

Working in a team of six academic advisors directly under the Dean of Students, I helpedto drive and lead the John XXIII College academic support system. Integral to my role was that of a mentor and a culture-setter, as well as a tutor. Using my background in qualitative and quantitative research and my strong communication skills, I was able to elevate the ability of my students through regular feedback sessions and group tutorials on key social sciences concepts and approaches. One of my proudest achievements was that nearly all of these students achieved a High Distinction for the courses I supported them in.
