Currently working towards CMPC certification through the Association of Applied Sport Psychology.https://www.psychologytoday.com/profile/365146Summary:I'm someone who is passionate about mental health counseling, mental health and wellness, psychology, sports counseling and psychology, case management, athletic coaching, higher education, and student advising. With my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology, minor in Education, and Master's of Science in Community Counseling, I'm interested in using my skills to help a variety of individuals obtain their goals. These goals are in the areas of academics, athletics, mental health, physical health, and overall wellness. My niche is working with and counseling athletes achieve their goals both on the clinical and sports psychology/performance area of mental health. Currently, I work as a licensed integrative mental health therapist at Omaha Integrative Care in Omaha, Nebraska and a sports mental health therapist/consultant at Creighton University. In my positions with both organizations, I work with patients and student athletes on a clinical mental health and sports performance level to assist each individual I work with to be the best they can be as complete individuals, students, and athletes. I work with a variety of populations from kids, teenagers, young and older adults, couples, and student-athletes. I am a hard and disciplined worker who has many goals and aspires to the best I can be to serve the mental health, academic, and athletic community in any way possible. I'm also a competitive distance runner for Lincoln Running Company Nebraska, a USATF Elite Development Running Club located in the Greater Omaha Area. My ultimate goal is to make it to the Olympic Trials in the marathon. I formerly competed as a cross country/track and field athlete at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (Go Big Red!) and still enjoy competing competitively to this day.
