Responsible for leading the team in charge of executing the manufacturing process steps and ensuring that it operates as smoothly as possible while reducing and rationalizing on cost inefficiencies to the minimum. Responsible for making sure that the manufacturing equipment is in good working order to maximize product production as the marketplace dictates while minimizing on scraps as much as possible▪ Lead the production process and draw up a production schedule.▪ Lead quality manufacturing engineering solutions to hardware, operational, development and production requirements.▪ Lead productive dynamic working relationships with engineering, design and planning departments to maintain regular association and to discuss and agree improvement issues.▪ Estimate staffing requirements, production times, and relative costs to provide data for operational decisions.▪ Coach and mentor direct reports and colleagues.▪ Collaborate with configuration control and engineering design regarding product tooling and design to ensure effectual production methods are applied.▪ Coordinate work steps with tool room personnel, assigned technicians and outside vendors.▪ Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures into production environments.▪ Appraise performance PMS for own employees. ▪ Fulfill additional tasks as per job requirements and as assigned by line management.
