The Sr. Manager of Ops is responsible for leading and executing all aspects of the campus operations to include safety, security, reliability, network environment, customer relations, the critical environment, and P&L. This role will strategize, manage, and operate multiple Data Center facilities for Aligned. The Sr. Manager of Ops will ensure all Data Center facility systems meet or exceed industry standards for critical maintenance resulting in 100% uptime, ensures the building engineering and security teams follow all reporting and documentation processes and SOPs, and meets all customer service level agreements and compliance audits.The Sr. Manager of Ops will serve as the liaison for all 24x7 operational activities across their managed facilities with executives and department heads to ensure appropriate communications with all interested and vested parties. They will lead and direct the staff in their market to optimize employee potential and maximize Aligned’ s continued growth in existing and new markets.

Develop and Approve Practical Operational Training.Start up and implementation with new site directors and FMs to coordinate site turnups.o Visit new sites to ensure smooth transitions from Platform Delivery to Operations. Train new Operations teams on ADC Runbooks and Policies and ensure best practice processes are implemented.o Garner Operations feedback to identify gaps in policy, driving constant improvement to accommodate growth across the company.· Technical resource to support sites with an operational lens.· Enforce Operations best practices.

o Oversee operation/maintenance of the following in a building covering 1.3 million square feetA battery of chillers totaling 6000 tons of chilled water and related equipmentFire alarm system, elevators, and plumbingFour emergency Cummins generatorsThree steam boilers operating at 80 psiOversight of all contract electrical and mechanical workPerformed reviews and managed time schedules for the Watch Engineers, Shift mechanics and Electricians.o Ensure safety and comfort of the customer by responding to trouble calls in a timely mannero Provide guidance and mentoring, as needed, to ensure personnel perform the tasks required in a complete and accurate manner and delivered with outstanding customer service

Manage power distribution, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC start-up operations & testingEstablish and employ power plant and mechanical plant rounds, readings, and log functionsMaintain air handling, package HVAC units, split systems, & chilled water systemsDocument and report all problemsStatic Switch Gear Operation / High voltage transfer / UPS Systems / Diesel Generator operation - 750-3000 kW / AC and DC Power distribution / pre-action fire systems / Building Control Systems (BMS)/ Cooling Towers

Maintain and operate Mechanical equipment such as starting up of AHUs, Chillers, towers, and pumps. Respond to house calls which include (Comfort cooling requests, lighting failure, electrical failure, carpentry and plumbing problems).Electrical distribution to include; (Monitoring of medium voltage distribution gear, generators, Low voltage switch gear, PDUs, UPS, transformers, ATS). Monitor BAS and change equipment set points and values to meet requirements of building.
