Co-Founded, built initial software offering and team for a first of its kind technology geared towards helping mobile devices enhance cellular connectivity via Wi-Fi. AT&T acquired Wayport 11/2008 – Key executive retained after acquisition. Responsible for all software, hardware specified and live operations of 27x7 network. Responsible for all personnel, development budgeting, and served as the technical voice for Wi-Fi at AT&T* Managed $50M+ budget and over 300 full-time and contract employees * Responsible for software engineering, network engineering, hardware engineering, quality assurance, program and release management for a network of over 30K+ locations * Accountable for AT&T’s Public Wi-Fi Network which runs 24x7x365 across retail, hospitality, campus, hot zone and stadium venues and corporate customers including McDonald’s, Starbucks, Hilton Hotels, Dallas Cowboys * Cross-functional management and interaction with AT&T sales, marketing, labs, product and operations team to understand and coordinate development and operational efforts* Ensured product and project requirements are identified and incorporated into developed solutions; provide quality assurance (testing) to ensure intended outcome is realized * Technical lead for all Wi-Fi Services M&A activity, including the Hilton Stay Connected and Superclick acquisitions

DOCOMO Intertouch acquired 12/2006 – As senior technical executive, responsible for all product delivery, maintenance and definition. Managed all aspects of the development process and expense planning. In addition to owning the patent portfolio, experienced in being technical point person for prosecution of a portfolio.* Responsible for all product development as well as key involvement in roadmap creation * During tenure product deployed in the field went from 10K to 25K+ site deployments* Leader accountable for playing most active role with large customers, strategic partners, vendors and licensees of our Software * Managed and negotiated all contracts for outsource partners / supplemental software development worldwide * Owned the patent portfolio and process (Technical legal issues and lawsuits also in my purview)
