Peter Ferris has over 45 years’ experience in the telecommunications field, covering strategic, technology, engineering and operational aspects of the industry.He is an independent consultant with his own business, providing Telecommunications Expert Services. These services related to the provision of technology and strategic advice relevant to such topics as architectural analysis, design concepts, implementation and cost models for Telecommunications Networks. Engagement could include provision of assistance in the presentation of this information in appropriate meetings or forums. He has completed an engagement with Reliance Jio in Mumbi, India where he was responsible for the provision of Strategic Leadership for FTTH Planning & Engineering, setting the guidelines and standards for capacity planning, design and engineering for the FTTH roll-out, as well as generation and delivery of the training courses to reinforce this framework. Peter Ferris was formerly part of the Chief Operating Officers team at NBN Co., responsible for the planning & design of the fibre, wireless and satellite networks.
