Ex officio member of the governing body of a charitable organisation, the oldest military organisation in the United Kingdom which provides support for military and police institutions.

Amongst many other cases, successfully acted in two lengthy (c. eight years) and multifaceted international arbitrations (MOL v Croatia (ICSID) and Croatia v MOL (UNCITRAL)) in which my client (MOL) was accused of paying a bribe to the then Prime Minister of Croatia in exchange for the passage of key oil and gas agreements, and for one of the ‘Barclays Four’ senior executives charged by the SFO with fraud in relation to the Barclays/Qatar capital raising exercises in 2008 (R v Boath and others), securing an acquittal after a five-month retrial at the Central Criminal Court.
