Regional Eu Network Control Center Manager
Current- Working in the centre of the daily network operations management: continuously informed of the network status, ultimate decision–maker for all unplanned schedule alternations and responsible for communication all impacted changes. As such, fully accountable for the execution of network operations in normal, contingency and emergency modes. 24/7, 365 days per year.- Responsible for reviewing and appraising daily schedules and to make decisions to optimize the operations and maintain performance including informing all concerned parties. Acting in an overseeing capacity for all aspects of network operations. - Final decision-maker on all areas of ambiguity- Interfacing with European Hubs & Gateways, Global NCG, other Regional NCC/NCG, Airline Operators or other country operations staff as required, to provide direction and implement necessary changes - Daily set up of planned air network operations matching schedules to operators and managing any ad hoc adjustments to this.- 24/7 Monitoring of regular line haul performance between other Regions and Europe, assessing impact of potential and/or confirmed disruptions/contingencies to the schedule, making necessary changes and adjustments with work groups in NCC to ensure business continuity is maintained. In order to offer the best possible level of service within the constraints of weather, maintenance, crew and uncontrollable elements- Providing continuous information on aircraft technical issues relevant for Network Operations- Coordinating Network Control Center activities (Load control, Dispatch, Flight watch, Charters), ensuring communication and appropriate actions are taken to deliver the best possible service to the DHL Network internally and with the airline operators and ancillary services.- Shift and vacation planning for a team of 16 officers
