About Peter Florijn

In 1989, Peter graduated with a MSc from the faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering at Delft Technical University. Since then he has been working in the resource recovery from process waste from the metal industry. He has focused on business development, contracting, environmental issues, risks assessments, quality systems, project management, research and development, engineering and general operational management. His present challenge is Fondel Metals & Minerals , a company active in resource recovery and consulting for the metal industry.Peter is an innovative, analytical and motivating team leader. He is a member of the Royal Institute of Engineers in The Netherlands (KIVI NIRIA) and board member of the mining department within this institute. Also, Peter is a former member of the Round Table and currently he is the president at the gentleman’s society Amorna. Aside from this, he sails and maintains a 100 year-old traditional Dutch yacht.
