The resulting products have made the experience they are used in noticeably better, safer and more enjoyable.In the first half of my career I delivered innovative product and technologies for well known consumer product brands in sport goods equipment and athletic footwear then moved to the other side of the supplier table, growing a multi-market, premium branded material technology company from an early stage startup to an ISO organization that serves the military, marine, ballistic protection, helmet, PPE, consumer products, industrial products, sports facility, and footwear markets, with others in development.Developing product & technology application strategies, roadmaps, product launches, and championing & navigating adoption within a product organization (my own or a customer's), developing technology marketing messages and serving as the voice of the technology are specialties. I have deep experience and training in IP management & creation strategies and in technology licensing agreement negotiation.Teams I've led or played leading roles in have brought to market the iconic Reebok Pump Fury shoe, Reebok Graphlite carbon fiber plates and Reebok Energy Return foamed TPE decades before carbon fiber plates and engineering grade polymer foams became common in running fshoes, Reebok Hexalite II honeycomb, and the Rollerblade Coyote off-road skate, As Rollerblade, Prince tennis, Nordica ski boots, Kastle skis, Asolo footwear, and Ektelon racquets were folded together I was chosen as VP of Innovation for the resulting Benetton Sports System.At SKYDEX Technologies we use polymer geometries to create impact and cushioning materials with a wide range of benefits and product possibilities that foams and competing premium protective materials don't allow for. I joined the company as COO as it moved from a licensing entity to a company developing, marketing, and producing the material technology. I have played a key role in fundraising, hiring, process establishment, business development, and supply chain growth. My specific portfolio of duties has changed as the company evolved but has included leading product development, technology research & development, material & manufacturing innovation, IP management, product management and strategic planning.
