For the past 3 summers I have interned at RV Golf schools in their St. Andrews sleepaway camp. My experiences here with a massive international presence has been the highlight of my year 3 years running. Working with Rick has taught me that passion in what you do and belief in yourself can take you anywhere in business. Leaving his job as a secondary school golf coach to start his own was a risky move with no guarantees, but he has grown his camp from 12 campers a week 3 years ago to 40 this past summer. Working by his side I have learned how to behave myself in a leadership role as well as learning how to communicate with people from across the globe. All of these experiences paired with being able to Golf all across East Lothian and Fife for 3 weeks every summer makes me forever thankful that Rick has allowed me to intern with him for this long.

Experienced first hand how a growing startup is run. Started in 2018 by Mark Cook Catapult has revolutionized a formally outdated print industry. Implementing a technology based approach to an industry that hasn't changed much in half a century. This tech based approach produced constant data and allowed me to analyze data such as average flow time as well as wait time in between jobs in an attempt to maximize productivity. Analyzing data was the tip of the iceberg however, seeing how this business worked was the most important aspect for me. Seeing how a company can come in and disrupt like Catapult has was really inspiring and gave me a passion for innovation in stagnated industries. In meetings with the leadership team I gained valuable insights on how to successfully grow and scale a company. This experience not only was amazing, but gave me an insight to what I would like to do in the business world.

• Resilience. Through the early morning lifts or the late nights of homework after practice I learned a lot about myself and how when I'm determined I can do anything. • Surpassed my wildest dreams with a perfect senior season, 100% on field goals and extra points off 45 kicks. Playing in high school sports was the greatest experience from which I learned so many lessons about myself and life. Football, Tennis and Track and Field were such different experiences, but each offered different lessons and skills that I learned throughout 4 years.

• Exceeded expectations of even my own parents, this camp grew so quickly as the demand for camp was so high and we were the only one available. • Operated under unprecedented circumstances in the best way we could to provide the kids a good time, and the parents a break.When covid hit and there were no camps running me and 2 of my friends had the idea of starting our own camp for the neighborhood kids. It grew to the point the whole town was trusting us with their kids for 3 hours every day for a whole summer. We ran it for 2 summers and closed when town run camps came back.
