Peter won ‘Optometrist of the Year’ and his practice achieved ‘Technology Practice of the Year’ at the Optician Awards in 2005.The Aarons’ team have been recognised by Northumberland Care Trust with two ‘Innovation in Practice’ awards for commitment to community care.2001 to 2005 A Masters Degree with Distinction in Ocular Therapeutics was attained from Bradford University. Peter Frampton trained as an Optometrist at QUT, Brisbane Australia; he moved to Britain in 1986 and took ownership of Aaron Optometrists in 1993. Before doing optometry Peter did Australian Environmental Studies at Griffith University, Brisbane. Employment being scarce a stint as an Ambulance Officer in Brisbane followed before enrolling in optometry.
