Hello! I'm Peter Fray, a senior at Oberlin College (Graduating Spring 2024) studying Comparative Literature, with minors in Creative Writing, Literary Translation, Writing & Communications, and French. When I'm not at school, I call the Boston area home. I'm interested in pursuing a career in editing/ publishing. I have worked as an editorial intern for the literary magazine AGNI, and have also done some freelance copyediting. I currently work in the Oberlin College Writing Center, where I advise students on their essays and writing processes. I've loved building connections with students, learning about the practices of writing pedagogy, and getting to discuss writing every day! I also work for the Oberlin College Title IX and EDI departments, and am deeply committed to fostering positive relationships in the workplace and helping to uphold the values of equity, diversity, and inclusion in all of the organizations I am a part of. For the month of January (Winter Term) I am interning with Brandt & Hochman, a full-service literary agency in New York City. I'm incredibly excited to be learning the ins-and-outs of the industry and building my professional skillset--- and exploring NYC living!
