It also covers the Pera Defence businessThe role also includes significant involvement in the European Commission's research funding programme, Horizon 2020. I provide training and mentoring to organisations, particularly in Turkey, to improve their bidding process. I also wrote and co-deliver the Commercialise project, which is designing a €40m coaching programme for SMEs engaged in research projects.Outside of Horizon 2020, I also design coaching tools and methodologies, and co-authored Pera's Growth CCODE methodology. The purpose of this role is to increase the effectiveness of bid documents across the whole of Pera. This covers both public and private sector bids, in particular for government programmes and R&D funding.Since taking up this post, I have helped Pera's bid teams secure two major government contracts worth over £250m. I provided a bespoke bid process, training, guidelines, concept generation, workshop facilitation, editing and content creation in support of these successful bids

• Run client workshops and brainstorming meetings. This involves extensive ideas generation and validation;• Manage quality control for all divisional proposals (around 60 a year). This includes multiple gated milestones and formal technical and style evaluations;• Author writing best practice guidelines for the entire company;• Deliver training for all writers across the company;• Mentor writers within the Intelligent Systems Research Institute, one of Pera’s 3 main… Show more • Run client workshops and brainstorming meetings. Projects were spread across a wide variety of industry sectors, including road transport, medical IT, manufacturing, maritime engineering and web-based software tools.
