In 1995 while working for Ingersoll Rand they acquired Clark Manufacturing. Within that purchase they gained the Blaw-Know asphalt paver line that was then produced in Mattoon Illinois. Like many folks in the industry I was fortunate to attend the training center there on many occasions.It was at that time that my career in the asphalt paving industry really kicked into high gear. In the North West Blaw-Knox was a well-respected product with a high percentage of the market. As a technician asphalt is something you either love or you hate. It quickly became my passion and has been ever since. I wish I knew how many tons of asphalt I chipped off the pavers I was rebuilding during that phase of my career. I supported the Blaw-Knox line in the North West until April 2011. Looking for a way to take my career to the next level I landed my current Job with Dynapac. I started at the same time they introduced a new highway class paver for North America. I’ve had the opportunity to work with paving crews in more than ½ of the US States and recently in Brisbane Australia. I feel blessed, you could say my career found me and it’s been a heck of good ride so far.
