I am responsible for the company's Non-Destructive Testing department in many different capacity's such as conducting daily inspections using UT, PT & MT methods in our workshop in Derby as well as on site customers sites throughout the UK & Ireland, ensuring all Tecforce's NDT procedures are current in accordance with British Standards, Liaise with our Level 3 services provided by Engineering Training Solutions, selecting appropriate test methods & preparing written instruction, maintaining NDT staff's training & certification records.As well as Non-Destructive Testing I also undertake material testing a prime example would be conducting hardness testing on various materials & components.Since 2012 I have obtained SNT Level 2 qualifications in PT, MT & UT furthered by qualifying to PCN Level 2 to in PT & MT in 2014. I have recently qualified to PCN Level 2 in UT inspection of welds 3.1 & 3.2. It is certainly my aim to progress toward Level 3 qualifications in various NDT methods in 2016.
