Since the last 4 years he has been specialising in low intervention, biodynamic, & natural wines. In 2021 he co-founded together with Winemaker & Sommelier David Raya, the micro-winery, Roca Viva Wines: Clean and precise Natural Wines from different Terroirs in Andalucia from autoctonous grapes, each with its own character while focusing on environmental responsibility towards vineyards, soils and its people. Peter holds an MBA in Wine Marketing & Management and a BA in Hospitality Management. He is also a Certified Sommelier from the court of Master Sommeliers as well as a Certified Beer & Sherry Sommelier.He has been focusing on Spanish wines for the last 8 years and made it his goal to select the best wines for the best price from hot and up-coming Spanish wines regions to ensure maximum drinking pleasure!He has been helping wine drinkers as well as hospitality establishments select their favourite wines for the last 14 years. Working in different positions in the wine industry in different countries helped him understand individual taste preferences, as well as realise, that wines should be selected for specific moods and circumstances rather than for grape varieties or regions. After exploring different cultures, wines & foods, living in countries like Germany, Switzerland, Australia, India, USA, France and northern Spain, Peter has finally settled in Andalusia where he has been living since 2017. Following his passion of food and wine he now explores and studies the Spanish wine world, always in the search for the most delicious wines and the most synergetic wine & food pairings.
