Object Trading was a global provider of a fully-managed Direct Market Access (DMA) platform, pre-trade risk controls, and analytics applications. In July 2017, Vela completed the acquisition of Object Trading.Spanning an 8 year career (prior to the acquisition by Vela Trading Systems), I successfully lead the development and delivery of over 50 software releases, leading teams of between 2 to 8 engineers, including development, test, and test automation. I co-designed and lead the re-write of the C++ trade execution server, to support cross-platform compilation, with a focus on low-latency message processing. This included designing and developing a flexible and extensible risk management system and C++ and C# API.
