I have 39 years of civil and site engineering experience in both New York and Vermont. Now, as a Senior Engineer at engineering Ventures, I am focused on project management. Our team produces high quality products throughout the data gathering, analysis, and design phases, to meet our clients’ vision and overcome the project obstacles. Not only do we identify root causes, but we also have the foresight and experience to understand what could interfere with our clients goals for their project. We have the communication skills to describe to them what’s realistic. We then collaborate internally and with our partners to create long lasting, functional, and maintainable solutions. Personally, I have a wide range of experience in the Engineering field. I’ve worked as a design engineer, a State regulator, owned several engineering businesses, volunteered with Engineering Without Borders venturing to Nicaragua twice, been chairman of local planning and zoning boards, and consulted privately. This breadth of experience enables me to effectively contribute to large teams of engineers, scientists, builders and owners. My versatile skill set allows me to fill the specific needs of every project I am a part of. This versatility helps my teams create buildings and site systems that maximize existing building resources. I also specialize in efficient utility management designs and effective erosion control measures. I have substantial experience in earthworks projects. This includes Healthcare and commercial campus developments, waterfront developments, building utility rehabilitation and replacement projects, small commercial water/sewer systems, and residential waste treatment system. If you’ve heard of my reliable and knowledgeable reputation I urge you to reach out to me at peterg@engineeringventures.com or give our office a call! I’d be happy to hear about potential projects and partnerships.
