As an experienced triathlete, I coach triathlon beginners and improvers – providing common-sense advice, support, and training plans, giving them the confidence to successfully take part in triathlon events. I am also chairman of Epsom Triathlon Club

In 2001 I formed a partnership and established Fuller Gilbert – an estate agency based in Raynes Park, a suburb of Wimbledon in south west London. Using my extensive local area knowledge and experience in marketing and business management, I was responsible for the brand development and marketing, managing the day-to-day running of the business, and developing and growing the business.After just over 12 years building the business from concept to a successful and well known independent estate agency, I was in need of a fresh challenge and so sold my share in the business.

Using the experience and skills I gained in the publishing sector I provided a sales and marketing service to a number of printing, publishing and design companies. During this time I helped develop a magazine for Wimbledon Village – this included the marketing and sale of advertising space.I also worked with a London based business-to-business graphic design agency. I was responsible for client liaison, generating new leads and managing relationships.

Grosvenor Press was a publisher of high quality, business to business directories, books and magazines. Following my earlier time with the company I enjoyed various roles, culminating in my appointment as Marketing and Circulation Director.

In my early 20’s I took some time out to travel round the USA and Central & South America. During this period I spent time with the San Francisco office of my employers Grosvenor Press International, sandblasting driftwood for a Florida Gulf Coast gallery and was a short order grill chef. I learnt valuable life-skills and independence during this time.

Originally employed as an ad sales executive, my various roles included copy chasing, credit control, marketing and staff management, culminating in my return to the company following my period of travelling.
