Peter's extensive career in international education spans over thirty years and includes over twenty years as a Head of School in a variety of school types and geographical locations. His leadership experience commenced in 1993 when he was appointed the Founding Head of the International School Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and then followed Headships at the Australian International School, Sydney, the Overseas School of Colombo, Sri Lanka, the International School Hamburg, Germany and Renaissance International School, Saigon.As a school leader, Peter's work has focused on school improvement, governance, strategic planning, curriculum design and change management. He has a strong business acumen and is highly experienced in school design, school construction and new school development. He was a key member of the project team that established the International School Ho Chi Minh City and, more recently, was instrumental in the design and construction of a purpose-built school for the International School of Hamburg and a bilingual international school in HCMC, Vietnam.Peter is currently living in Newcastle, Australia and was recently elected as an independent Councillor for the City of Newcastle.
