  I have been practicing for over 30 years, with the last 20 focused on advising and representing employers in a myriad of labor and employment disputes. My experience includes representing employers throughout EEOC/DFEH investigations and administrative trials, Labor Commission wage and hour claims, as well as over 500 federal and state lawsuits involving virtually every type of employment-related claim, contract, tort or statute-based. A particular emphasis of this practice involves the defense of religious employers, and successfully advocating their constitutional right to make employment decisions consistent with their religious beliefs and mission. Applying my 30+ years of practice, a portion of my current practice involves acting as a mediator for employment disputes, and also have been retained to conduct workplace investigations. I am a former President of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada (2006), and have other honors and recognitions.
