• Assist the Plant Director for Operations and Maintenance of seawater desalination plant• Lead a team of engineers, chemist, lab technicians and technicians to optimize plant operations to meet water dispatch quality, quantity, energy consumption, EHS and budget requirements• Manpower planning to accomplish 24 hrs plant operations works with sufficient manpower• Determine chemical consumption and plan procurement and delivery to ensure sufficient chemical stock on JIT principle meeting water dispatch requirement• Develop, Implement, Update and Review Standard Operating Procedures for operations of Desalination Plant• Carry out plant improvement work for plant and systems optimization to achieve better water production, quality and cost control• Liaise with Customer daily for dispatch instruction and issues promptly and in a professional manner• Arrange and provide training to all staffs related to operations works to understand and comply with procedure, safety and environment requirements• Preparation of various weekly, monthly and annual progress reports to management promptly with accurate information and data• Oversees HACCP and EHS system implementation to ensure no critical point control, environmental, health and safety violations
