Peter Gogsch Accountants was formed in 2019. We provide taxation, accounting and general business services to a range of individuals and businesses throughout North West regional Queensland through a fresh but professional approach.We are based in Mount Isa in the heart of North West District but also regularly visit other areas including Cloncurry, Winton and Julia Creek.The business has been established by Peter Gogsch who has nearly 20 years experience in private practice in regional Queensland. Peter, who originally grew up in Ireland migrated to Australia in 2002 working as a graduate accountant. Throughout this time Peter has gained significant experience with clients in particular within the rural and mining services sectors.Our Commitment and valuesBeing based in regional Queensland we believe we take a somewhat different approach. We appreciate the challenges faced by regional areas and are proud to be part of the Community. This includes a sizable amount of Community Service from our staff who are each involved with different community groups in various roles.Peter Gogsch is the principal of the business and is based in Mount Isa. Peter is a Chartered Accountant and Registered Tax Agent. Peter commenced his professional career in Longreach in 2002 having migrated from Ireland. He worked in general practice with a wide range of clients but gained significant exposure to the Local Government and Queensland Pastoral grazing industry.Throughout this time Peter has also provided consultancy services to a number of Western Queensland regional Shire Council’s and has gained significant experience in relation to their legislative and operating frameworks.Community has always been an important aspect, with Peter having served in various roles within the community, including 10 years as treasurer of the iconic Mount Isa Rotary Rodeo Inc. Peter currently serves as treasurer of the Rotary Club of Mount Isa South West Inc and is director and secretary of the Mount Isa Irish Association Friendly Society Limited.
