I work as a Site HSE Advisor and currently do Site Inspections, Audits and Site Development Visits for Taylor Wimpey and several other Groundwork Contractors. As a Site HSE Advisor it is my responsibility to check all activities onsite and ensure all control measures are in place for these activities and are being carried out safely. Our Site Inspections are detailed and take into acount all risks on site from Risk of Falls from Height to Traffic Management Arrangements. I also check all the appropriate paperwork to ensure the daily/weekly inspection records are upto date. A key part of my role is building relationships with both the Site Management Team and the Operatives on site. I would much rather help and educate the people onsite to help them understand the importance of working to Risk Assessments and Method Statements, rather than stopping activities that i dont feel is safe and giving them no explanation for why im stopping it and leaving it for the Site Management Team to deal with . I feel if your honest with people and people are willing to listen and learn from each other it creates a good working environment for everyone.

As a Health and Safety Advisor it is my responsibility to ensure a safe place of work for our Employees, Visitors and Members of the Public who could be affected by our work process. I currently develop work packs for various jobs ensuring our policies and procedures are in place and being followed. The work pack contains everything we need to complete a job safely and to the customers needs. It is a pleasure for me to be part of Fraser Shop-fitting Services. I'm working alongside great individuals with a passion to succeed and do well for the best of the company. Everyday is different, challenging and enjoyable which is the most important thing. Health and Safety is a passion of mine which I enjoy promoting to others and I hope to develop my skills and knowledge to the best I can for my own benefit and the benefit of the company.
