Dispute resolution, procurement, party representative in adjudication, arbitration, litigation support, acting as tribunal, adjudicator for RICS, overseas and UK experience of various claims and disputes including Switzerland, Jamaica, Latvia, Newfoundland (St Johns) in fields as diverse as process plant, road schemes, tunnelling, ground works (superstores), hotels, multi storey car parks and oil processing ships (Floating Production Storage and Offloading Units (FPSO's). Then freelance to Knowles and own clients until February 2004 when returned full time. Project types included infrastructure, tunnels, FPSO units to oil industry, roads, process plant, buildings etc. Countries worked, Canada, Jamaica, Latvia, Switzerland, N.Ireland. Also procurement advice to many public sectors clients using EU Directives.Work split between dispute resolution in arbitration and adjudication and procurement for public sector with strategic advice including project monitoring.Business Development including co-ordinating actions of 13 No marketing staff across regional offices, sign off on budget expenditure, review of marketing and seminars functions. Meeting senior client representatives and promoting services of various regions.

Assisting lawyers in Construction Group.I worked 15 hrs per week as a Consultant to the Construction Group headed up by Jeremy Williams. I assisted Paul Millar, Paul Dorrian, Simon McCann and Steve McCombe with technical input on construction/engineering issues. I was also involved with business development, writing articles and making presentations.
