Tender: Preparation of detailed design of solar field DC and HV AC for the 40MWdc Manildra utility scale solar project, working alongside an experienced contract Estimator.

Essentially the design manager in the EPC construction management team (a team of 15 expats) brought in by the Philippine developer for the 100MW solar farm at Mt Santa Rita for Jobin. Managing and developing the Siconia design, Proinso procurement and SBMA permitting.Not all went smoothly, which provided lessons learnt for all large infrastructure projects, particularly in foreign countries with different jurisdictions.

Happy to be part of the engineering management team for this project with First Solar. Encompassed design management, stakeholder and owners engineers liaison, design review and factory acceptance testing for the 102MW Nyngan solar farm, and 53MW Broken Hill solar farm.

Suburban Electric Rolling Stock:* Managed the assessment and re-write of the LV cable specifications FE049-1997, FE106-1997, FE051-1997 for suburban electric rolling stock.* Door Motor Replacement Program - Trialled and commissioned obstruction sensors and traction interlocking circuits.* Door Isolation Controls Responsible for design, 3-D drafting and trials of simple pneumatic isolation points for train crew.* Prepared drafting and proposals for drawing and document control for rolling stock passenger fleet maintenance section.

* Pharmaceutical Aseptic Liquid Filling System - Carried out factory acceptance testing, installation, commissioning and validation of liquid line using GAMP4 and GEP validation procedures.* Pharmaceutical Inspection and Packaging Line - Carried out factory acceptance testing, installation, commissioning and validation of associated packaging line using GAMP4 and GEP validation procedures.

NSW Industrial Supplies Office provided consultants to audit and promote the engineering capabilities of Australian companies. As a consultant with NSWISO, I inspected the premises of approximately 150 metropolitan and regional companies, and promoted their capabilities to prospective manufacturers and developers.
