After arriving from London's famed Hatton Garden in 1972 and realising a need for quality, high-end jewellery product in Australia, I formed a group of companies now known as Diamonds Select Pty Ltd. As Founder and Executive Chairman, I began creating bespoke jewellery pieces from a basement in Barrack Street, Perth, Western Australia.In 1983, I opened the Solid Gold Diamonds showroom on the first floor of the historic Gledden Building, on the corner of William Street and Hay Street Mall.Here we created a manufacturing and retail jeweller centre of excellence, which hasgrown to become one of Australia’s premier diamond jewellers with a simple philosophy.Source the world’s finest diamonds, refine the supply chain to deliver the best value without compromising on quality, manufacture to the highest standards and deliver the benefits to the customer.The Diamonds Select business portfolio has grown to include a strong retail presence in Australia through Solid Gold Diamonds as well as a globally respected diamond manufacturing and wholesale company Adamas Diamonds.
