Program ManagerProgram Manager of numerous projects including the global "Refresh" (replacement) of over 20,000 PC's, 300 servers and 100 Local Area Networks; and rollout of a web based ordering system.- Successfully managed the complex project ($25M, team of 250 people) to replace over 20,000 PC's (Personal Computers) in 23 countries by defining and communicating globally repeatable processes resulting in improved Visteon business productivity. $25M, 250 people- Led the global replacement of 413, move of 293 and decommissioning of 107 servers ($75M, team of 500 people), thereby delivering improved service to the Visteon business.DCC: $25M, 120 refreshed, 234 moved, 107 decommissioned, 200 people; Server: $50M, 293 servers, 300 people- Delivered the most extensive implementation of IBM’s web based ordering system to all Visteon employees resulting in improved business satisfaction with the IT department.

Deliver consulting projects.- Partnered with the IBM PC Company to win the $10M Personal Computer (PC) business at Underwriters Laboratories. Delivered services (total value of $300K) to install the PC’s.- Led the $73K consulting engagement to analyze Abbott Laboratories’ Data Center Consolidation Project which resulted in a confirmation of Abbott’s direction and offered concrete recommendations for improvement.- Delivered Performance Analysis projects at Boise Office Products ($35K) and Caremark ($137K) that resulted in high customer satisfaction and tangible recommendations that improved service at a lower cost.

Relationship ManagerProgram Manager of large projects including Year 2000 (Y2K) Flowthrough, Y2K Command Center and Operations Support System (OSS) Expansion- Led the Y2K Flowthrough project ($15M, team of 100 people) resulting in a delighted customer and flawless execution of the joint team. Established effective working relationships both within the IBM team and with the demanding client.- Organized the Y2K Command Center (team of over 500 people) to manage the Year 2000 cutover with nearly “trouble free” results that significantly exceeded expectations. Earned a coveted IBM Leadership Award for the results of the two Y2K projects.- Delivered over $16M in additional IBM revenue to expand the OSS systems which were required for SBC/Ameritech to receive regulatory approval to enter the long distance market, a strategic imperative.

Project Office ManagerBusiness Office Manager on the $200M IBM outsourcing contract with NIPSCO.- Led the Transition project ($2M, team of 30 people) to move data center, distributed systems management, application development and maintenance resources and processes from NIPSCO to IBM.- Led the Phase 1 Year 2000 Assessment and Strategy project ($1M, team of 20 people) that concluded on time and 5% under the estimated number of hours.- Successfully negotiated contract changes that had significant impact on the contract’s current and long-term profitability. Earned the IBM Golden Circle Award (top 1% of IBM Global Services) for these contributions.
