Operations Consultant
Current• Provide a range of consulting services to help emerging mining companies establish their operations for early-stage exploration and drilling programs to uncover precious metals across the Timmins region • Build and nurture client relationships to understand business needs, define strategic plans, and address issues • Administer the land position portfolio to ensure all patents, leases, and mining cells are in good public standing • Prepare documents and submit permits to the Ontario Government using Mining Lands Administration System• Conduct outreach campaigns to engage local First Nations groups that are impacted by the proposed programs• Organize discussions with key Government stakeholders, private landowners, and First Nations communities • Source vendors across Northeastern Ontario and Quebec Canada to purchase and procure various mining equipment and materials • Partner with the Site Logistics Coordinator and Senior Geologists to coordinate and implement drill programs • Track site operations and performance to ensure budgets, deadlines, safety, and environment standards are metKey Achievements:✔ Negotiated memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with First Nations groups and secured Government permits for Class 1 Nickel and Technologies (V–NICO) 10,000-meter drilling program with an estimated project value of $1.4+ million ✔ Orchestrated regulatory permits for Oakhurst Exploration drill program that gives the Company approval to drill in 3 property areas
