As you can see, I have nearly 10 years of management experience. While the majority of that experience has been in the food industry, it’s important to note that the skills needed to be an effective manager are similar to those found in many industries: the ability to address the needs of the customers while working in a fast-paced setting, the skill to motivate employees who bring a broad of range of skills and challenges to the table, an aptitude for building relationships and a penchant for proactively addressing the future needs of the business. I also want to note that I moved up very quickly in every position I have held when the management quickly recognized my abilities as a problem solver, hard worker and leader.
