Over the past few years I have implemented Dynamics AX2012R2 this has involved me operating in all the areas of an implementation including the practical installation and configuration of the system, from Virtual Machine creation all the way through to creation/configuration of companies within AX system. Providing consultancy and support to extract the requirements from the business interpreting them into what the mean to the system and explaining system functionality/behaviour in business terms to the superusers and decision makers. This has continued, moving to support the business by developing additional functionality in and around the AX implementation to integrate other systems and enhance the functionality of the system. This has included; reporting through AX and SSRS, Business analysis through SSAS and PowerBI, Creating AX services and VSTO applications to streamline the entering and editing of budget and project forecast data, Integrations to internal systems such as Active Directory, Payroll and external cloud systems such as Halogen TalentSpace. I have also continued to support the engineering functions by providing occasional CATIA support for application usage, integration to Ansys via CADNexus Capri, script and application development for both CATIA and SmarTeam functions.I am now starting to look for fresh challenges, where I can use my talents for spanning multiple disciplines combined with my technical skills to deliver business value.
