I develop web and desktop software in the pharmacovigilance sector, all in accordance with industry regulations, standards and procedures. The team use Azure DevOps, SQL Server, process automation and the current suite of Microsoft .NET tools to deliver our projects for the wider business. Main duties involved working on RPA projects from all areas of the business to find efficiencies and reduce workload on staff. The automation tool used was UiPath in conjunction with Orchestrator for scheduling, instancing and security purposes. Where projects required custom extensions to transform data or query databases I used MS Visual Studio to develop NuGet packages UiPath could consume.

Was a senior software engineer performing proof of concept work for new features on the main product, there was a plan to add several significant features over the coming months and years. However the new North American owners immediately made over half the workforce redundant, myself included.

My work at Geomatic Solutions is focused on Windows business applications development for Aviation and for the Oil and Gas Exploration industries, using a mixture of managed and unmanaged code. Our suite of applications include a range of technologies including mapping, data QA/QC, XNA based 3D visualisation, webapps, geodetic calculation, data warehousing, photogrammetry and scripting engines.
