I began my career with Cracker Barrel at the Florence SC location and currently working back at the Florence, South Carolina. I have worked at 15 other locations in order to help develop staff, running shifts and please people to allow for my counter parts to recover from situations or to allow new people to complete their training. My flexibility has allowed me to work in these different locations, giving me the opportunity to work with a lot of different types of people. This flexibility has given me the great opportunity to learn different techniques to coach and develop my teammates and employees. These skills have led to me becoming a more effective leader. Thus allowing me to increase productivity of the team which improves moral and my ability to have the best restaurants in there respective markets. As well it has allowed me to display my mastery of labor management, inventory control, staffing and employee development.

After leaving the company to pursue a other career outside the Restaurant industry, I was actively recruited to be the General Manager over both the Hardees and TCBY yogurt store in Brittons Neck, SC. In addition, I was a training manager during the opening of multiple locations. I participated in the opening of the Enoree SC, and Sangaree SC, locations. I Participated initial hiring of employees, and Managers, trained staff and managers. I set up and maintained the computer systems and menus, I did all of the programming of the menu and promo changes. As a General Manager, my unit received store of the month several times by consistently maintaining all controllables, and increased traffic and sales. During my time with the company I worked closely with the district manager, learning her roles and operation of Subway restaurants as well.

I was responsible for helping customers with the second most important purchases in life, the purchase of a reliable automobile. I was very successful at this venture, I adapted my previous skills of working with people to become a great salesman. I averaged a minimum of 8 units per month which allowed me a lucrative income as the position was 100% commission based. I was awarded Top sales associate of the month. I won this award several times with consecutive months in the mix. I was a very successful sales associate during which time I was being actively recruited by my previous employer as well as being recruited by one of my customers to be a retail manager of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, inc. I was pulled away from this career choice when I was offered a position as General Manager of a Hardees with my previous employer R.L. Jordan Oil Company.

I was recruited to be an Assistant Manager of the Company's first Franchised Hardees. I participated in the initial setup of unit after construction was completed. I did the largest part of the interviewing and hiring of the staff. Working hand in hand with the Hardees' training team to get the staff and unit ready for opening. Participated in the active advertising and marketing to announce the opening of our new Hardees to the community. We worked hard to have a large and Successful grand opening. After the opening I continued in the Hiring and training of staff to ensure we had the best and most productive staff. I was also in charge of inventory control with the goal of keeping food cost low. I also did staff scheduling, also with keeping costs low and productivity and moral high. I was so successful that I was recruited to assist in the opening of the Company's second Hardees unit located in Brittons' Neck, South Carolina. During this opening I did a lot of the same as the previous opening. I also worked with the IT department to install the pos system learning how to troubleshoot issues, install software, and make changes to menus and pricing.
