During my 30 year career I have had the pleasure of working in both Federal and Provincial governments, in addition to a 3 year consulting career. I have worked with numerous communities to help in Emergency Management compliance and exercises. I coordinated and produced over 150 exercises during my career. I am a certified level 2 instructor for IMS and EM. I have obtained certification in IMS courses at levels 100, 200, 250 and 300 and several other EM courses such as Basic EM, CEMC, exercise design EM125 and 225. I was also an instructor for building emergencies such as earthquakes, fires, bomb threats, suspicious package, loss of power, floods, and active shooter. I acquired a vast knowledge of Emergency Operation Centre best practices having managed and built EOC’s, acted as Operations, Logistics, Plans and Finance and Admin functions within. During the Security aspect of my career, I performed threat and risk assessments, investigations and subject interviews, in addition to some special security projects. These are the skills I would be happy to bring to any organization.
