Business-Development from the scratch - from idea to fullfillment, I was able to found the first subsidiary of our club outside of Germany. This meant learning not only a lot about chinese culture, it meant learning laws and regulations from the business-foundation to hiring the first employees, learning thes specialities of chinese tax law and managing all the difficulties that no one could imagine.Today I have a great team working in an beautiful office, where our GM Martin and I even put together the chairs and decorated everything with our full hearts. My job is to inspire them, teach them how to do the business, do the contracting and controlling, reporting to the "mother" and coordinating our worldwide activities and international-marketing to support our targets within the Chinese market.We want to show China that we are a trustful, reliable partner in the development of football in China - because we see that this is the key to longterm success for both sides. And by this we want to show as many people as possible, the wonderful, unique and likable story of our club. As we are convinced that Borussia is the best club in the world!

Borussia gave me the chance to develop myself to a sales-man, sponsorship- and accountmanager - a great task to get to know so many interesting companies, business-(wo)men and marketing strategies - and a great team around. As we saw new opportunities and chances, I became the lead for digital- and international sales, but quickly saw the problem that it needs sustainable international development to come to the output we all hoped for. So it was my mission to create the right frame for longterm sales-success and I became the Head of Global Operations, leading a fantastic team of people who not only love our club, but have full drive to create ideas, strategies and contacts to make our common vision happen. With 4-5 Project-Managers in Germany and 2-3 in the China-Office we found a perfect setup, strengthend by coaches and sport-advisors in our worldwide projects.

As Media-Officer I was responsible to steadily manage and develop the association´s internal and external communication to fullfill the needs of thousands of managers in Clubs, within the many stages of grassroot-football and all related media in western germany. Within that I was responsible for all classical and digital media of the association aswell as the highly respected Sportschule Wedau - from the monthly Magazine to Campaign-Management and development of educational and informational materials with the respective departments.Developing e.g. the "Football Safari" for Kindergarten-kids with my dear Colleague Manuel Schulitz, aswell as beeing part of the "Commission for prevention of child-abuse in sports" were Projects that I am still very proud of.

Wow what a chance. Finishing university and directly beeing part of a first divison football team, was a once in a lifetime chance I was able to take. By bringing me in with full passion during my internship, I made the club taking me for an assistant of the Media-Team, where I was able to raise the level especially in the upcoming Club-TV. Great time to learn and at the end the door opener for the rest of my carreer.
