My expertise includes industrial hygiene, environmental management systems, and safety management. I have experience in chemical safety evaluation, laboratory safety, and Process Safety Management (PSM). I have extensive experience identifying, tracking and complying with EHS regulations. As an EHS consultant, I have written compliance registers for clients with complex operations, and referenced OSHA, EPA, DOT and other standards in written audit findings.My relevant accomplishments include: Ergonomics: I led a factory-wide ergonomics project that created a process for identifying and reducing risk of ergonomic injury. With support from factory management, I assembled a team of factory engineers and safety committee members and trained them how to identify and evaluate ergonomic risks. Tasks were given risk scores, and corrective actions were identified for high risk tasks. As a result of these efforts, the organization had a better process for identifying and correcting ergonomic issues and lowered their injury risk.Refrigerant Management: Our facility was not in full compliance with refrigerant management requirements in 40 CFR 82, Subpart F. I created a written program document and worked with local and national teams to develop inventories and tracking tools, and worked with the local team to implement the program there. These efforts improved compliance and reduced cost and waste from lost refrigerant. Safety committee and ERT team improvement: Our safety committee was barely functional and not compliant with state regulations. Working with factory management, we recruited members who were respected within the relevant functional areas and trained them, established meeting processes and tools, and got factory managers to make time for safety committee members to present during team meetings.
