KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProject Delivery• Provides specialist advice to client based on technical and operational knowledge and experience. • Establishes client requirements and produces project plans to meet milestones and deadlines.• Uses appropriate project delivery methodology, as required by the client, to achieve results.• Subcontract definition and management to deliver solution. • Organises and manages resources to achieve objectives.• Maintains and uses appropriate information systems to monitor and review progress.• Manages own and others performance to ensure outputs are delivered on schedule.• Act as Project Manager on assigned tasks adhering to BMS. May include overseas travel.• Keeping abreast of issues affecting the ICS market and collecting business intelligence.• Presenting SCS to potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails.• Acts as Bid Manager and support other bids as required. Other• Undertake other duties and tasks that from time to time may be allocated to the jobholder that are appropriate to the job.

• Responsible for ensuring all ILS enablers were delivered on time to undertake Platform and Bowman Regeneration within the ESS Interim Regeneration Capability (IRC) LoL £9.133M Nov 09 to Oct 10. • Responsible for ensuring all ILS enablers were delivered on time to undertake Deployed Level 4 Equipment Support (DL4ES) within the ESS Full Regeneration Capability (FRC) LoL £71.068M Oct 10 to Sept 13.• Planned and coordinated the installation of RLI, MS, FEMIS and GLOBAL MIS for both IRC & FRC; in conjunction with 2 Sig Bde and the USSO. • Conducted monthly trips to Op HERRICK interfacing with JFSp(A), JFCIS, contractors, Bastion based 1st line units and ESS management team thus ensuring individual equipment support solutions were sustainable and delivered on time.• Principle interlocutor for PJHQ, MOD, DE&S Delivery Teams, DLOC, FLCs and AS&Ds on all matters relating to the development and deployment of DL4ES.Key Achievements – Developed processes and procedures which have and will continue to enable the planning, deployment and support of Platforms and Equipments into Afghanistan, Op HERRICK.

• Introduced and sustained Panther AFV on Op Herrick.• Provided project management and ILS assistance to Operational and home based UK forces. • Mentor to Prime Contractors providing in-service support as dictated within the CFA contract.• Investigated, detailed and resolved provisioning issues, utilising EDW, OLIVER, SS3 and ISIS.• Identified critical shortfalls within ILS procedures and initiated follow up action to ensure the correct ES materiel, special tools, training and relevant publications were available to sustain Panther on Op HERRICK and within UK.Key Achievement – Recced, planned, executed and managed the ILS support solution for deployments to Oman and Afghanistan (Op HERRICK); this work resulted with a nomination by JPT prime contractor for a Managing Directors commendation.

• Responsible for all ES, ILS and SM matter for the Royal Corps of Signals. • HQ SOinC(A) focal point for the development of System and Equipment Support solutions wrt current and future Army ICS/CIS equipments, employing ITIL methodology.• Key-supporting Officer for an Army wide study to determine a coherent support solution with regards to military communications.• Provided Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and contractors with direction to develop and write support policy and procedures in all areas of Network Enabled Capability (NEC).Key Achievement – Initiated detailed investigation and staff work identifying a capability gap with current support policies, developed and articulated a cable repair policy that when implemented will provide the MOD with substantial savings, ensuring too, that the Field Army is better supported in UK and on Operations.

Captain. Staff Officer within the Unified System Support Organisation. • Sole SME for all matters regarding ES, ILS and SM. • Agent for tri-service system support from a policy perspective.• Coordinated system support to all UK military overseas deployments.• Troubleshooting sustainability issues across all projects, vigorously prioritising work in order to meet the most urgent requirements. Key Achievement – Devised and implemented an Army wide incident management Standard Operating Procedure which has since been adopted by the Navy.

WO1 (ASM). BOWMAN Digitisation IPT (BLD IPT) ILS & ES SME. • ILS focal point to the user directly effecting the implementation of procedures for applying the principles of ILS to the BOWMAN project.• Analysed feedback of technical information collected throughout the BOWMAN technical and field trials with a view to using lessons identified to develop a more sustainable support solution.Key Achievement – Developed and implemented the Incident Report process for the BOWMAN Technical and Operational Field trials thus maximising ILS data gathered.

WO2 (AQMS) Army Technical Support Agency, Satellite Communications Desk Officer. • Ensured maintainability, reliability, and availability of military command, control, communication and information systems. • Received and analysed feedback of technical information for all MOD Satellite equipment.• Co-ordinated in-service reliability demonstrations and user trials.Key Achievement – Developed and implemented a successful information feedback procedure regarding MOD Satellite equipments.

Production Manager, 3 Field Workshop, 6 Battalion REME.• Production manager responsible for 60 technicians with the remit to keep all telecommunication, optronic, armaments and associated equipment serviceable within an Army Division. • Accountable for the organisation, motivation, training and monitoring of career development of 230 soldiers of a REME Close Support Company. Key Achievement – Successfully commanded Support Platoon on operational deployment to Bosnia
