Linux Solutions Architect
CurrentProviding technical advice and assurance over the planning, design and development of complex projects and priority objectives focused on Linux, open source environment and automation such as puppet and ansible.Taking on strategic assessments of current capabilities and identify opportunities for enhancement - balancing immediate operational needs with medium and long-term objectives.Ensuring compatibility of proposed new solutions with existing solutions, infrastructure, services, and strategic requirements, and consider potential impact.Provide expertise and technical knowledge across a range of programs or activities, including accurate and specialized advice.Support, develop, communicate and promote Linux architectural policies, standards, guidelines and procedures that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of Open source within the enterprise.Focusing on converting business requirements into the architecture and design that constitute the blueprint for the solutions.Provide feedback to Management to shape the future of our Linux infrastructure and looking into possible cloud solutions.
