Coordinating ongoing digital book efforts and expansion, conversion of backlist titles (in house and outsourced), along with editing and proofing digital products before releasing them for retail sales. Ensuring that digital titles are available for sale to various library systems. Member of the Atlantic Digital Sub-Committee, a group of publishing representatives from various Atlantic provinces who discuss marketing and visibility options specifically for Atlantic Canadian ebook titles.Production duties include designing interior book layouts, book covers and advertisements, photo scanning and some restoration. Photography and videography of book launches and events, creating internet trailers for books, and author interviews.Experience with Adobe InDesign, QuarkXpress, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word. Also have experience with shipping and receiving, ensuring that book orders are delivered in a timely fashion.
