CurrentAt VetrixBio, we are developing next generation medicines for two of the most common and disabling diseases in dogs: cancer and osteoarthritis (OA). More than 4.2 million dogs annually are diagnosed with cancer and the standard of care (SOC) today relies on dated chemotherapy and radiation. Efficacy is often limited, and serious adverse events are common. We intend to change that.OA affects as many as 40% of young dogs and 80% of dogs aged 8 years and older, with the SOC limited to pain relief rather than treating the underlying disease. We are adding disease modification to pain management.
