• Manage a team of 5 office based Advisers & Administrators and 2 Regional Vetting Compliance Managers to ensure that the Right to Work and Vetting statuses of 50,000+ Mitie employees are complete.• Manage stakeholder engagement including 3rd party vetting provider, Immigration Enforcement, Business Directors.• Oversee the workload of the team to ensure it is completed effectively and efficiently.• Maintain and report on the Right to Work and Vetting of each Mitie business to business Directors using HR databases and Microsoft packages.• Liaise with Regional Vetting Compliance Managers, HR and Contract Managers/Directors to ensure that the contract vetting requirements are met.• Mitie’s point of contact for all Home Office UKVI information requests.• Investigate whistle blower alerts and escalate where necessary. • Initiate fraud investigations including illegal working, financial expense and payroll.• Identify, assist and implement technology and development opportunities.• Provide advice to the business for recruitment on Tier 2 sponsorship applications.• Ensure all students with a Tier 4 Visa adhere to the restrictions of their Visa’s.• Provide regular training on Right to Work and Vetting to HR Admin and recruiting managers.• Provide advice to employees and managers with Right to Work and Vetting Processes. • Liaise with relevant 3rd parties for advice and support including Home Office and solicitors.• Identify risks and weaknesses within the business and report findings to the business and client.• Conduct, review and store risk assessments for any adverse vetting.
