I am SAP or IV'er for both Microsoft campuses and lease site personnel in the Netherlands. Microsoft owns and operates 2 high voltage substations, a fast MV redundant network and redundant LV systems at Datacenter level. I am responsible for setting up a multi level AP system (with OIV'ers, WV'ers, VP'ers and VOP'ers and operating by it. We have several hundred of appointments out in the field and never had a recordible electrical/arc flash incident since I started.

Lead Design EngineerDoor de jaren heen heb ik me gespecialiseerd in 'mission critical fascilities'. In deze rol ben ik verantwoordelijk voor de coördinatie van het complete ontwerp van datacenterprojecten: elektrisch, mechanisch, CSA, etc. Naast dat ik verantwoordelijk ben voor het ontwerp, maak ik deel uit van het projectteam dat programma / planning, inbedrijfstelling en projectbeheer levert. Voor projecten fungeer ik als SAP voor LV- en HV-systemen (IV / WV) op locatie. Ik voel me goed in alle bovengenoemde rollen.Als 'package manager' beheer ik de tijdige levering van apparatuur en systemen ter plaatse, inclusief generator (inclusief bedieningselementen), elektrische bewakingssystemen, gebouwbeheersystemen, elektrische schakelborden / control systems en meer.

Supervisor of the data center transition team in the Amsterdam areaIn the role of transition team supervisor I lead a team of engineers dedicated to verify the commissioning and Qa process on a large scale data centre campus in Middenmeer, Netherlands. We were stationed as part of the clients operational team at the data centre development campus.Further, my team was coordination, verifying and advising on handover requirements, documents, tools, etc. to ensure the operability of the data centre at hand over. Stationed at the construction team we coordinated permits, operational procedures and acted as liaison between the operational and developing teams.

For this project I was the lead commissioning manager from Arup for testing and commissioning of all life safety and business critical installations, like: sprinkler, fire detection, emergency power, evacuation systems etc. The project is named One-XS and deals with the implementation of a central security system throughout almost the entire Airport of Schiphol.I was stationed with a team at Schiphol advising and representing Schiphol in various stages of commissioning and hand-over process. We working closely with and in the clients operational teams validating various processes and advising on hand over issues.

The type of projects I have worked on the last years with enthusiasm are, amongst others: Data Centres, Museums, Universities, High rises and hospitals. The team was of 5 fte with optional 2 or 4 fte from other offices/agency staff.
