At the core, I’m a software developer. While other kids were playing computer games, I was incessantly asking ‘why?’. Which led me to write programs that solved some pretty big ‘whys?’ for businesses. Fast forward several decades and I’m still asking ‘why?’, and now solving business problems on a large scale. Naturally, I took to software development like a mouse to a pad. I quickly saw that the Internet and Cloud technology was where we were all headed. And that our reliance on desktop software was holding us back. The beauty of Cloud-based software is evidenced by our family’s move from the big smoke to regional NSW, where we, like many of our customers, do business without city limits.With 12 years’ experience in the software industry, and counting, I’ve worked with customers of all sizes, and budgets – from local ‘mum and dad’ businesses to some of the biggest public organisations in Australia. Ultimately, I use technology as a tool to help businesses of any scale be more collaborative, innovative and productive. As principal of Cadence, my specialty is building custom data-driven Cloud applications and solutions that fit seamlessly with existing businesses processes. The result: streamlined efficiency leading to significantly improved profitability.
